Main Duties

• We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant (CPA-T) to manage daily accounting operations and support the accuracy of financial reporting.
• The ideal candidate will ensure timely preparation of financial statements, compliance with tax requirements, and smooth coordination of all accounting activities within our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Responsible in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Ensure proper posting of transactions into accounting systems.
• Prepare and submit all statutory returns (VAT, PAYE, SDL, WHT, etc.) in line with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and update cash books, bank reconciliations, and general ledger accounts.
• Support budget preparation and expenditure tracking.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and tax regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
• Provide financial insights to support management in decision-making.

Other Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant – CPA (T) is mandatory.
• Minimum of 2-3 years working experience in accounting.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, financial statements, and statutory returns filing.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems) and MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
