Main Duties

• The Warehouse keeper is responsible for perform daily warehouse operation and filing with the Warehouse
• Supervisors. perform duties to support shipping and receiving, deliveries, Filing, documenting warehouse transactions, maintaining records, and overseeing storage of surplus inventory and property for the district.
• Receive & check all shipments (both oversees & Local) meant for the branches
• Receive & check all parts received from other warehouses through the IBT system.
• Bin and update locations for all received parts. Create locations for new parts without locations.
• Pick and supply parts for customers and Workshops
• Pick & dispatch parts for other branch warehouses through the IBT system.
• Perform inventory daily cycle counts and investigate variances as and when they come up.
• Run daily profitability report to reconcile all supplies with the system generated invoices.
• Keep up to date file for all documents namely, invoices, IBT documents, waybills, profitability reports, DCC,
• Ensure parts are stored in their correct locations as reflected on the system.
• Ensure the parts warehouse is always clean and free from dust.
• Prepare for quarterly stock counts for all parts in inventory.
• Communicate effectively with the warehouse team to ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Ensuring Reman inventory is accurately managed to have system data well tallying with physical inventory.
• Hoses manufacturing, handling and safe keeping of hose including free from dust
• Reporting and resolving warehouse-related issues, over-delivery, under delivery, damages, and wrong delivered shipments
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other handling tools
• Ensure proper and prompt dispatch of parts issued to respective branches as required and accurately receipt all packages and items transferred from other branches and bin them to respective locations. Monitoring the system to avoid any delay on receiving the IBT
• Ensure accurate entries, registration, approval, distribution, and filing of issuing and receipting documents as required from time to time. Involve third party security personnel to witness appropriate stages of issuing and receipting actions.
• Enforce a “clean-as-you-go” policy and ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and free of safety hazards always.
• Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and conduct regular safety training for warehouse personnel.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain high standards of product handling and packaging to minimize damage.
• Accurate and timely reporting of all inventory issues including over or under stock is mandatory
• Avoid any Concealing or misrepresenting stock in any how and escalate to the next level if first level doesn’t work on it
• Ensure goods are stored in designated areas following warehouse layout and safety standards.
• Any other duties as may be assigned by the HOD.

Other Requirements

• Materials management, Warehouses, stores or Supply chain bachelor’s degree /Diploma or equivalent, CPSP,CIPS or related Certification with 2-3 years experience.
• Essential: Knowledge and experience of Data entry/ Warehousing
• Desirable: Supply Chain Management general knowledge or Proven experience in warehousing or a relevant role,
• Additional training/certification or membership of professional bodies:
• Essential: CPSP,Desirable: Registered member of PSPTB
• Tools and technologies being used in the role: Manpro, TMS, HH, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
