Main Duties
- Oversee accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely collections and payments
- Ensure monthly bank reconciliations and cash flow reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing for services rendered and cost accounting per value stream
- Maintain data accuracy in financial statements
- Prepare financial reports for internal and partner use, ensuring audit readiness
- Ensure on-time payroll processing and statutory payments (NSSF, PAYE, etc.)
- Monitor and enforce compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
- Establish and maintain finance policies (petty cash, reimbursements, expense requests)
- Provide financial insights for new initiatives, partnerships, and diversification plans
- Support budgeting and forecasting aligned to strategic priorities
- Collaborate with leadership to align finance operations with client experience goals
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Other Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years in Finance or accounting roles
- Software: Relevant to position applied for (i.e MS Office, SAP,ERP,etc)
Skills Required
- Financial Analysis & Planning skills. Including financial report preparation and interpretation, budgeting, and financial planning.
- Risk Management, Assessing, mitigating, and managing financial risks and ensuring absolute compliance.
- Accounting & Reporting; deep understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Technology Proficiency; Expertise in Excel, ERP or Accounting package solutions, and financial modeling software.
- Data-Driven Decision Making; using financial data to model analytics to support management decision making.
