Main Duties

.Oversee day-to-day shipping line operations, including vessel scheduling, port calls, and cargo movements
· Ensure timely and efficient handling of shipments in coordination with port authorities, agents, and logistics partners
· Monitor vessel performance, turnaround times, and operational efficiency
· Plan and manage shipping schedules to optimize routes and capacity utilization
· Coordinate with terminals, clearing agents, and transporters to ensure smooth cargo flow
· Handle import and export documentation and ensure accuracy and compliance
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, freight forwarders, and shipping agents
· Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
· Liaise with government authorities, port officials, and regulatory bodies
· Ensure adherence to maritime laws, safety standards, and company policies
· Monitor and manage risks related to shipping operations, including delays, damages, and claims
· Ensure all documentation and processes meet legal and regulatory requirements

Other Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Logistics,Supply Chain Management, or related field
· Minimum of 10 years of experience in shipping line operations or maritime logistics
· Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, port operations, and documentation
· Proven leadership and team management skills
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
· Ability to manage multiple operations and work under pressure
· Proficiency in shipping systems, ERP, and MS Office applications
