Dispatch & Delivery Coordination
• Plan and schedule dispatch of finished goods based on sales orders and delivery requirements.
• Coordinate vehicle allocation and loading to optimize trips and costs.
• Monitor delivery progress to ensure goods reach customers on time and in full.
Customer Order Fulfillment
• Ensure customer orders are dispatched accurately and within agreed timelines.
• Resolve delivery-related issues and communicate proactively with sales/customer service teams.
• Monitor customer satisfaction with delivery services and escalate concerns where necessary.
Transport & Fleet Management
• Coordinate company-owned fleet and contracted transporters for outbound deliveries.
• Monitor transporter performance (cost, timeliness, service quality).
• Ensure vehicles comply with legal and safety requirements.
Documentation & Compliance
• Prepare and verify delivery documents (delivery notes, waybills, invoices, loading sheets).
• Ensure compliance with company policies, customs (if applicable), and statutory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatched goods, deliveries, and transporter contracts.
Cost Control & Optimization
• Monitor transport costs against budget and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Optimize load planning and route planning to minimize costs and delays.
• Track and report logistics expenses for management review.
Inventory & Warehouse Support
• Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure finished goods are available for dispatch.
• Reconcile dispatched goods with inventory records.
• Minimize errors, damages, and losses during loading and transportation.
• Bachelor Degree in Procurement and logistics management/Stores Management/Supply Chain/related field.
• Qualifications as an added advantage: Registration with Procurement and Supplies Professionals and Technicians Board (PSPTB)
• a. General work experience (years): 5–7 years of procurement experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or specialist role.
• b. Specific to the position (level/discipline/years): 5 years in a similar role
• c. Industry: Experience in manufacturing or FMCG procurement preferred.
