Main Duties
-Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the unorganized retail sector.
-Identify high-potential regions and markets within Tanzania for targeting unorganized retail outlets.
-Identify and onboard new sales channels and partners in unorganized retail,including wholesalers, vendors, and agents.
-Negotiate terms with retail partners and set up effective distribution models to maximize sales coverage.
-Develop and nurture strong relationships with key partners in the unorganized retail space, ensuring repeat business and partner satisfaction.
-Manage and train a team of sales representatives assigned to different regions,ensuring they understand goals and performance expectations.
-Organize training sessions and regular check-ins with the team to improve sales techniques and product knowledge specific to the informal retail market.
Other Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
-6 years of sales experience in the informal sector or a similar role,
ideally within the consumer electronics like Smart phones, tablet etc.
-Strong understanding of Tanzania's unorganized retail landscape.
-Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
-Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments
