Job Summary:
- To act as the primary liaison between customers and the service department, ensuring efficient scheduling, accurate diagnosis communication, and timely delivery of heavy commercial vehicle servicing. The Service Advisor plays a key role in enhancing customer satisfaction and optimizing workshop productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction & Support
- Greet customers professionally and assess their service needs.
- Provide accurate estimates and explain service procedures clearly.
- Maintain regular communication with customers regarding service progress.
Service Coordination
- Schedule service appointments and allocate workshop resources efficiently.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
- Monitor job progress and proactively resolve delays or issues.
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare job cards and ensure all service documentation is complete and accurate.
- Ensure compliance with warranty policies and manufacturer standards.
- Maintain records of customer interactions and service history.
- Closing repair orders and issuing the invoices.
Quality & Feedback
- Conduct post-service follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.
- Collect feedback to improve service processes and customer experience.
Other Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a service advisor role, preferably in heavy commercial vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of HCV systems, components, and service procedures.
- Proficiency in service management software (e.g., SAP, Dealer Management Systems).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English; Arabic or other regional languages is a plus
