Main Duties

• Supervising maintenance and repair of company vehicles

• Ensuring all vehicles are in good working condition and safe for operation

• Planning preventive and corrective vehicle maintenance schedules

• Monitoring vehicle performance and minimizing breakdowns

• Supervising mechanics and workshop technicians

• Diagnosing mechanical faults and ensuring timely repairs

• Inspecting vehicles regularly to ensure roadworthiness

• Managing servicing schedules, oil changes, and spare parts replacement

• Monitoring fuel consumption and vehicle utilization

• Keeping maintenance records and vehicle service history

• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and transport policies

• Managing spare parts inventory and workshop tools

Other Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in vehicle or fleet maintenance
• Experience supervising mechanics or workshop teams
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards
• Ability to diagnose vehicle mechanical and electrical faults
• Understanding of preventive maintenance systems
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field
• Technical certifications in vehicle maintenance 
• HSE or OSHA certification is an added advantage
